Abstract:
An organic waste treatment method in which organic waste including solids is charged, as a substrate, into a fermentation tank and subjected to an anaerobic fermentation treatment, wherein: the method includes a first step for measuring the solids concentration of a charged substrate being charged into the fermentation tank, a second step for setting a dilution rate of the charged substrate such that the in-tank solids concentration subjected to the anaerobic fermentation treatment in the fermentation tank reaches a prescribed target value, and a third step for diluting the charged substrate so as to reach the dilution rate; and the dilution rate is set on the basis of the mathematical formulas (in-tank solids concentration) = ((solids concentration of charged substrate) × (1 − (dissolution rate of charged substrate))) and (dilution rate) = ((in-tank solids concentration) ÷ (target value of in-tank solids concentration)).
