Abstract:
This refrigerator comprises: a compressor; a condenser; a hot pipe; at least one capillary tube; at least one evaporator; a valve device which includes an input port connected to the condenser, a first port connected to one end of the hot pipe, a second port connected to the other end of the hot pipe, and at least one output port connected to the at least one capillary tube; and a controller which controls the valve device to operate in a first mode by causing one of the first and second ports to communicate with the input port and causing the other of the first and second ports to communicate with the output port, controls the valve device to operate in a second mode by causing one of the first and second ports to be closed and causing the other of the first and second ports to communicate with the output port, and controls the valve device to operate in a third mode by causing both the first and second ports to be closed.
