Abstract:
A method for updating firmware for a vacuum cleaner including a station and a vacuum cleaner main body comprises the steps of: when there is a new version of firmware, receiving, by the vacuum cleaner main body, a request to check firmware update conditions; identifying, by the vacuum cleaner main body, whether the firmware update conditions are satisfied; transmitting, by the vacuum cleaner main body, a result of the identification to the station; and if the firmware update conditions are satisfied and a user also agrees to a firmware update, receiving, by the vacuum cleaner main body, the new version of firmware and installing, by the vacuum cleaner main body, the received new version of firmware, wherein the firmware update conditions may include at least one of a communication condition, a location condition, and a battery condition of the vacuum cleaner main body.
