To enable update of a program by simple control without affecting existing regions allocated to a memory.SOLUTION: An information processing device according to one embodiment of the invention for enabling a program update process, includes determination means for determining the maximum size among the sizes of inspection targets related to the validity of an updated program, memory ensuring means for dynamically ensuring the maximum size determined by the determination means in a predetermined region of the memory, and inspection means for inspecting the updated program for each of the inspection targets, within the region of the memory of the maximum size ensured by the memory ensuring means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
