Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a method for migrating a file system, and a related device. The method comprises: a target storage device sending first request information and second request information to a source storage device, wherein the first request information and the second request information are information respectively encoded according to a first sharing protocol and a second sharing protocol; the target storage device receiving first response information from the source storage device, decoding the first response information according to the first sharing protocol, and obtaining and storing first data; and the target storage device receiving second response information from the source storage device, decoding the second response information according to the second sharing protocol, and obtaining and storing second data. A target storage device can migrate data in a source storage device on the basis of a plurality of different protocols, such that additional various different migration tools are not required for technical support, and then the cost of migrating a file system can be effectively reduced.
