Abstract:
The present invention relates to an intercooler for cooling and supplying air in the main engine that drives a biogas generator, and to a biogas generator. The intercooler having reduced air resistance for greater efficiency comprises: a heat exchanger comprising a plurality of radiation tubes through which air to be supplied to the main engine passes, and a plurality of radiation plates that support the plurality of radiation tubes, and diffuse and subject the heat from the radiation tubes to heat-exchange; a cooling fan for forcibly venting, in between the radiation plates, outside air that is undergoing heat-exchange with the heat exchanger; and a protective member supported by the radiation tubes that face the cooling fan and provided with a plurality of protective vanes that continue the respective radiation plates so as to prevent damage to the radiation tubes and radiation plates due to foreign substances in the outside air supplied to the heat changer from the cooling fan. Therefore, the efficiency of heat change in the intercooler can be improved.
