Abstract:
A food waste disposer comprises: a housing; a pulverizing case which is disposed in the housing, is configured to pulverize food waste, is separable from the housing, and has a discharge hole formed through the bottom surface thereof; a valve assembly coupled to the pulverizing case from below the discharge hole to open or close the discharge hole and protruding downward from the pulverizing case; a storage case disposed below the pulverizing case and configured to store food waste pulverized by the pulverizing case; a transfer pipe configured to transfer the pulverized food waste from the pulverizing case to the storage case and disposed between the valve assembly and the storage case; and a connector coupled to the transfer pipe and deformable when the valve assembly is seated thereon.
