Abstract:
One or more embodiments of the present description provide a cloud computing instance creation method and apparatus. A distributed edge cloud computing system comprises a central management and control device and at least one edge cloud node. The method comprises: on the basis of at least one resource management dimension, a central management and control device performing resource management on cloud computing resources carried on at least one edge cloud node, so as to create cloud computing resource sets respectively corresponding to resource management dimensions; in response to cloud computing instance creation requirements constructed by a tenant on the basis of at least some of the resource management dimensions, determining, from the cloud computing resource sets corresponding to the at least some of the resource management dimensions, target cloud computing resources matching the cloud computing instance creation requirements; and scheduling the target cloud computing resources to create, on an edge cloud node carrying the target cloud computing resources, a cloud computing instance meeting the cloud computing instance creation requirements, and returning cloud computing instance information of the created cloud computing instance to the tenant.
