Abstract:
An avatar control device according to an aspect of the present disclosure comprises: a motion detection unit that detects motion of a user on the basis of a captured image obtained by capturing an image of the user; a motion determination unit that determines, on the basis of the motion detected by the motion detection unit, one motion pattern from among a plurality of preset motion patterns for an avatar corresponding to the user; and an avatar generation unit that generates an image of the avatar which moves in accordance with the motion pattern determined by the motion determination unit.
