Abstract:
A wear monitoring apparatus and method for a brake, and a computer device and a storage medium. When a brake performs braking, an electric motor (20) drives a caliper (40), such that the caliper (40) moves toward a brake disk (41), and a brake pad (42) on the caliper (40) is jointed with the brake disk (41) to generate relative friction, thereby realizing braking. The wear monitoring method for a brake comprises the following steps: when a brake performs for an Nth time, recording an electric motor angle A1 when a curve of electric motor angle reaches the vertex; and when the brake performs braking for an (N+1)th time, recording an electric motor angle A2 when the curve of an electric motor angle reaches the vertex, wherein the wear amount ΔW of the brake performing braking for the (N +1)th time satisfies an equation ΔW = ΔA × the transmission ratio R of a transmission unit, where ΔA = A2 - A1.
