Abstract:
Provided is an electric braking system based on a CAN bus, comprising: at least two power supply and signal processing units used for generating, for a received brake demand signal, a control current for controlling an electric brake arranged at each wheel end; an electric brake used for braking on the basis of the received control current; and a wheel end controller used for controlling the processes of data acquisition, data analysis and comparison, and generation of a drive current of the electric brake at each wheel end. By means of connection of the CAN bus, efficient data transmission can be achieved between the power supply and signal processing units, and meanwhile, a mutual backup mode is adopted, and when any one of said units fails, the other unit can also achieve brake control of the whole vehicle, so that the braking reliability is improved.
