Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a method for efficiently processing waste solar cells. [Solution] This waste solar cell processing method is for continuously processing waste solar cells, and comprises a heating step for heating, in a thermal decomposition furnace, a solar cell module (C) having a resin back sheet and a sealing resin layer, to melt and oxidatively decompose resin components included in the solar cell module (C). The waste solar cell processing method is characterized in that the heating step involves, in a state where the solar cell module (C) is provided above a porous ceramic support body (A) at an interval from the ceramic support body (A) and the porous ceramic support body (A) is layered on a porous material (B) carrying a transition metal oxide, blowing hot air from the porous material (B) side toward the insides of the porous material (B) and porous ceramic support body (A) and toward the interval between the solar cell module (C) and the porous ceramic support body (A).
