Abstract:
The present application provides a video encoding method and apparatus, a video decoding method and apparatus, a device, a system, and a storage medium. When encoding and decoding a current block, N candidate weight derivation modes and a candidate prediction mode list are determined, wherein the candidate prediction mode list comprises at least one candidate prediction mode, and the at least one candidate prediction mode comprises a prediction mode determined based on division of a template of the current block. That is, according to the present application, when determining candidate prediction modes, prediction modes are derived by means of a divided template, and accurate derivation of the prediction modes is achieved, thereby improving the accuracy of determining a candidate prediction mode list; and when prediction is carried out based on the accurately determined candidate prediction mode list, the prediction accuracy and the encoding and decoding performance can be improved.
