A vehicle power device (1) is of outer-wheel rotation, in which the fixed ring is an inner ring (5) and the rotating ring is an outer ring (4), and comprises a bracket (24) attached to a knuckle (8) so as to removably fix the inboard-side end of the inner ring (5) and install an electric motor (3). The electric motor (3) is of the outer rotor type. The bracket (24) has a bracket base (24a) for mounting to the knuckle (8) and fixing to the inner ring (5) and a bracket cylindrical portion (24b) that extends from the bracket base (24a) to the outboard side, is located along the outer circumference of the outer ring (4) with a radial gap (δ) therebetween, and has an outer circumferential surface on which a stator (18) is installed. A rotor (19) for the electric motor (3) is detachably attached to a wheel mounting flange (7) with a rotor case (15) interposed therebetween.
