A valve stem protective sleeve provided with an indicator ring. The protective sleeve mainly includes: a sleeve body (4) which is sleeved on a valve stem (3) and is fixed or movably fixed to a handwheel or a handwheel fixing nut (1); an indicator ring (5) which is arranged outside the sleeve body (4) and ascends and descends along with the valve stem (3); and an indicator ring driving device. There are a plurality of methods to realize the lifting of the indicator ring (5) along with the valve stem (3): (I) a magnetic attraction method: the sleeve body (4) is made of non-magnetic materials such as plastic, stainless steel and aluminum, a magnet (8) is fixedly placed at the top of the valve stem (3) in the sleeve, the indicator ring (5) outside the sleeve is made of steel or other magnetic materials, and when the valve stem (3) ascends and descends, the magnet (8) attracts the indicator ring (5) to ascend and descend synchronously; (II) a pointer method: two through channels (14) are formed in two sides of the sleeve body (4), a pointer (11) capable of rotating relative to the valve stem (3) is mounted at a top end of the valve stem (3), two ends of the pointer (11) pass through the through channels (14) and then leave the protective sleeve, and the indicator ring (5) is mounted at the two ends of the pointer (11); and (III) a rope traction method: a rope (17) is tied to the top of the valve stem (3), the rope (17) passes through a side portion of a top end of the protective sleeve, reaches a side portion of the bottom of the protective sleeve, and then returns to a side surface of an upper portion of the protective sleeve by means of a pulley, the indicator ring (5) is connected to a position corresponding to the top of the valve stem (3), a rope is further connected to the indicator ring (5), and a spring (15) or a gravity hammer is connected to the rope.
