Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a float valve which can automatically change a maximum openable valve opening area according to an inlet pressure by means of a float.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of valve ports 15 to 18 having different opening areas are formed on a spherical valve seat member 11. The opening areas are formed increasingly in the order of the valve ports 15 to 18. A motor 23 for rotational operation is connected to the spherical valve seat member 11. The motor 23 is rotated according to a fluid pressure on a primary side of a trap 31 which is set by an automatic setting pressure reducing valve 41. When the fluid pressure is high, the valve port 15 is rotated to a position facing to a valve chamber 4. As the pressure decreases, the valve ports 16 to 18 are sequantially rotated to the position facing to the valve chamber 4.
