Abstract:
This valve device comprises a valve member, a housing, a biasing body, and a first seal. The valve member includes a shaft part that is rotatable about a rotation axis, and a rotor that is connected to the shaft part and that has a first flow path having a first opening in the outer peripheral surface. The housing is formed with an accommodating portion that accommodates the valve member, and a second flow path having a second opening that communicates with the first opening in the inner peripheral surface of the accommodating portion. The biasing body biases the rotor in a first direction. The first seal is placed between the outer surface of the rotor and the inner surface of the accommodating portion. The rotor is pressed against the first seal by the biasing body in a state in which the surface of the rotor facing the first direction does not come into contact with the inner surface of the accommodating portion.
