Abstract:
A utility tunnel manhole cover having a smoke sensing and alarming function and a method thereof, relating to the technical field of utility tunnel manhole covers. The utility tunnel manhole cover comprises a manhole base (1) and a manhole cover (2). The manhole base (1) is movably connected to one side edge of the manhole cover (2) by means of hinges. Cylinder components (3) are further connected between the manhole base (1) and the manhole cover (2). A sensing assembly (4) for detecting smoke is provided in the manhole base (2). An alarm assembly (5) is provided on the manhole cover (1). The sensing assembly (4) is connected to the cylinder components (3) and the alarm assembly (5) in series. Kinetic energy generated by rotation when the manhole cover is opened by means of a cylinder (32) is transmitted on a first rotating shaft (42) and a second rotating shaft (43) by means of a bevel gear (44), so that a sensor (46) rotates to the central position of the manhole base (1) when the manhole cover (2) is closed to the manhole base (1), to avoid low accuracy of data detected at the edge, and the sensor (46) rotates to the edge of the manhole base (1) when the manhole cover (2) is opened, to avoid causing hindrance to subsequent descent of workers into the manhole.
