The present invention relates to the field of drainage valves, and in particular to a transverse rotary valve flap shielding valve capable of being updated online without disassembly used in the field of electric power, metallurgy, desulfurization and denitrification, and the like. The transverse rotary valve flap shielding valve comprises a valve body (1). A valve rod I (5) and a valve rod II (10) are sequentially and longitudinally spaced apart at a certain distance on a valve cover (101) of the valve body (1); an up-down movement driving mechanism I is provided on the upper portion of the valve rod I (5); an up-down movement driving mechanism II is provided on the upper portion of the valve rod II (10); a small valve flap (3) is provided at the front end of the valve rod I (5); a large valve flap (2) is provided at the front end of the valve rod II (10); the large valve flap (2) is horizontally located on a valve port (19); the small valve flap (3) is arranged on the large valve flap (2); and the valve rod II (10) is provided with a rotary driving mechanism capable of providing torsion for the valve rod II (10). The present invention has characteristics of scratch resistance, corrosion resistance, high hardness, long service life, no internal leakage, no external leakage and the like.
