Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a topical composition that uses D-chiro-inositol and has improved usability when used as a water-soluble preparation. [Solution] This topical composition contains D-chiro-inositol, an extract, and water, wherein the extract is a royal jelly extract and/or a plant extract obtained from one or more plants selected from the group consisting of plants of the family Brassicaceae, the family Araliaceae, the family Asteraceae, the family Chlorella, the family Scrophulariaceae, the family Lamiaceae, the family Rosaceae, the family Myrtaceae, the family Pinaceae, the family Leguminosae, the family Gentianaceae, and brown algae.
