Abstract:
A toothed belt (B) has a belt body (11) formed by a rubber composition. This rubber composition contains a hydrogenated nitrile rubber with a bound acrylonitrile level of 15 mass% to 30 mass%, has a hardness at a test temperature of 25°C of A70 to A80, and, after heat aging by exposure for 144 hours to an atmosphere with a temperature of 140°C, has a cold resistance index as defined by formula (I) of not more than 0.25. (I): cold resistance index = 5% modulus at a test temperature of -40°C/hardness at a test temperature of 25°C
