Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a V-belt type, automatic transmission which is able to surely prevent a slip of a V belt against a primary sheave in a low rotation range of a motor including the case of a starting time, thereby effectively utilizing torque characteristics peculiar to the motor.
CONSTITUTION: A primary sheave 40 is provided on a rotor shaft 25 through which rotating torque of a motor is taken out. This primary sheave 40 is equipped with a fixed sheave 40a, which rotates together with the rotor shaft 25 as one body, a movable sheave 40b, which is able to move in the direction for the sheave 40b to approach or recede from the fixed sheave 40a, and a centrifugal weight 52 which moves the movable sheave 40b in the direction in which the sheave 40b approaches or recedes from the fixed sheave 40a in correspondence to the intensity of the centrifugal force. In addition, the primary sheave 40 is equipped with a compression coil spring 55 which constantly pushes or energizes the movable sheave 40b toward the fixed sheave 40a regardless of the centrifugal force.
