Abstract:
The present invention relates to a three-dimensional evaluation method for a smart dental prosthesis wherein, in a process of fabricating a removable prosthesis mounted in a patient's mouth or a fixed prosthesis mounted on an abutment of an edentulous patient, three-dimensional design data and prosthesis scan data are overlapped and analyzed, thereby evaluating accuracy, and the fitness of an inner interval between the removable prosthesis and the patient's oral palate or the inner interval between the fixed prosthesis and the patient's abutment, which are to be bonded by cement, is evaluated in a three-dimensional overlapping analysis scheme. In order to accomplish such an objective, the present invention comprises the steps of: generating three-dimensional design data for prosthesis fabrication; editing the three-dimensional design data with regard to respective parts to be overlapped and analyzed; three-dimensionally scanning a prosthesis fabricated by the three-dimensional design data, thereby generating three-dimensional scan data; editing the three-dimensional scan data with regard to respective parts to be overlapped and analyzed; and overlapping and analyzing the edited three-dimensional design data and the edited three-dimensional scan data by using three-dimensional overlapping/analyzing software, thereby evaluating the accuracy of prosthesis fabrication.
