Abstract:
This thermal diffusion device is provided with: a housing (10) that has an interior space (13) and that is provided with a first inner wall surface (11a) and a second inner wall surface (12a) facing each other in the thickness direction (Z); a working medium (20) enclosed in the interior space (13); a first wick (35a) and a second wick (35b) disposed in the interior space (13); and impermeable partition walls (14a, 14b) that are disposed in the interior space (13) and that have first ends (14a1, 14b1) and second ends (14a2, 14b2). The first wick (35a) and the second wick (35b) each extend along a direction perpendicular to the thickness direction (Z) and have portions that come into contact with the first inner wall surface (11a) and the second inner wall surface (12a) of the housing (10). The interior space (13) of the housing (10) has formed therein a steam passage (50). The second ends (14a2, 14b2) of the partition walls (14a, 14b) are in contact with an inner-side surface of the housing (10), and the partition walls (14a, 14b) are sandwiched between the first wick (35a) and the second wick (35b) in a plan view of the interior space (13) in the thickness direction (Z).
