Abstract:
A screw assembly (10) for position adjustment comprises a screw member (12) and a cylindrical member (14). The screw member is formed from a first shaft portion (16) and a second shaft portion (18) that extend on one straight line. The first shaft portion (16) has a peripheral surface provided with a thread, and the second shaft portion (18) has a peripheral surface that presents a zigzag shape along the circumferential surface of a circle about a point on the one straight line or a regular polygon circumscribing the circle. The cylindrical member (14) has an inner peripheral surface that defines a through hole (20) through which the first shaft portion (16) of the screw member (12) is passed and an outer peripheral surface that presents a zigzag shape along a circle about the axis of the through hole or a regular polygon circumscribing the circle.
