Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a novel sludge treatment device for preventing a power transmission member from falling off of from a wheel due to slack of the power transmission member, without losing a forward movement function of a cart. [Solution] A pair of wheels 4a, 4b are each vertically disposed. A chain 5 is wound around the pair of wheels 4a, 4b and extends in upper and lower lines therebetween. A cart 2 is disposed so as to be freely movable forward between the pair of wheels 4a, 4b. The cart 2 has a lifting-type scraper 2a for drawing sludge and wheels 2b placed on a rail 3. A traction part is provided in a section of the chain 5. A plurality of engagement portions are provided on the cart 2, and the traction part 5a, which circles along the chain 5, has such a shape as to be freely engaged and disengaged.
