Abstract:
Provided is a sliding component that can stably reduce the frictional resistance between sliding surfaces that accompanies eccentric rotation.　A sliding component 7 includes a sliding surface 7a that slides relatively in conjunction with eccentric rotation, wherein the sliding surface 7a has formed therein a dynamic pressure generating groove 70 that extends in the circumferential direction and that is divided by wave-shaped lateral walls 70a, 70b which have an amplitude in the radial direction.
