A single-sided knitted fabric having a differential water transport capability, comprising a fabric body, the fabric body having a skin contact surface and a garment surface, the fabric body being a single-sided knitted fabric formed by weaving at least one strand of yarn in a loop, the skin contact surface consisting of a skin contact unit and the garment surface consisting of an evaporation unit. The evaporation unit comprises evaporation loop limbs, an evaporation needle loop and an evaporation sinker loop, and the skin contact unit comprises a skin contact needle loop and a skin contact sinker loop. The evaporation loop limbs, the evaporation needle loop, the evaporation sinker loop, the skin contact needle loop and the skin contact sinker loop are woven in the same yarn and form a unit loop. In one unit loop, the horizontal and vertical densities of the fabric body are adjusted such that the ratio of the length of the evaporation unit to the length of the skin contact unit ≥ 1.2, and the diameter of the yarn d < 1 mm so that the liquid water one-way transport index of the fabric body OWTC ≥ 100%. The present invention, by means of adjusting a weaving structure in a fabric body, has good one-way moisture transport, increasing comfort.
