Abstract:

This secondary battery is provided with a battery can with a receptacle structure for internally housing a battery element, and a lid member which is attached via a gasket to the opening surface of the battery can, wherein the lid member is configured from nickel plated stainless steel, and the nickel plating has a crystalline structure in which the proportion of columnar crystals is at least 80%.
