Abstract:
Provided is a rotary drive device that has a wide rotary driving range, e.g. a rotary driving range of 0-180°. Disclosed is a rotary drive device (100) comprising: a crank member (2) that can rotate around a crankshaft (3); a first cylinder (6a) that can rotate around a first cylinder rotation shaft (5a) having a first piston (7a); and a second cylinder (6b) that can rotate around a second cylinder rotation shaft (5b) having a second piston (7b). The crank member (2) and the first piston (7a) are linked in a manner allowing rotation around a first piston rotation shaft (4a) that is distanced from the crankshaft (3), and the crank member (3) and the second piston (7b) are linked in a manner allowing rotation around a second piston rotation shaft (4b) that is distanced from the crankshaft (3).
