Abstract:
A cylinder (100) comprises: a cylinder bottom (120) that has an annular wall section (122) extending from a base section (121) and closes an opening of a cylinder tube (110); a back ring (140) that is provided so as to face the inner circumferential surface (110b, 122b) of the cylinder tube (110) and/or the wall section (122); and a groove section (124) that is formed in the inner surface of the cylinder bottom (120), wherein the groove section (124) has a first groove subsection (124a) that is formed in the inner circumferential surface (122b) of the wall section (122) and a second groove subsection (124b) that is formed in a bottom surface (121a) of the base section (121) contiguously with the first groove subsection (124a).
