Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a portable information terminal having a display screen that causes visually impaired people to make few tapping errors and has excellent responsiveness, and being also able to work with an external device. [Solution] This portable information terminal has input/output sections obtained by dividing the whole display screen into eight by partitions with orthogonality, the respective input/output sections being located within the whole display screen. Typically, this portable information terminal has input/output sections obtained by dividing the whole display screen into eight in total obtained by adding the number of fingers, one finger each, having an operation function of both hands of a visually impaired person to the number of finger braille points of 1 to 6 assigned to three fingers of each of both hands, the respective input/output sections being located within the whole display screen.
