Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a polyester film or the like that uses, as a raw material, a polyethylene terephthalate obtained from BHET acquired as a result of chemical recycling, that suppresses deterioration in physical properties and decrease in adhesive strength while ensuring high adhesiveness, that has stable characteristics, that can be suitably used as a base film for various laminates, and that can be manufactured stably. The present invention pertains to a polyester film that contains, as a raw material resin, a polyethylene terephthalate obtained through polycondensation of a raw material containing bis-2-hydroxyethyl terephthalate which is a polyester resin decomposition component. The polyethylene terephthalate satisfies the following (a)-(c). (a) The amount of terephthalic acid component-derived structural units with respect to all polyvalent carboxylic acid component-derived structural units in the polyethylene terephthalate is 98.0-99.98 mol%.
(b) The amount of ethylene glycol component-derived structural units with respect to all polyhydric alcohol component-derived structural units in the polyethylene terephthalate is 97.5-99.3 mol%.
(c) The amount of diethylene glycol component-derived structural units with respect to all polyhydric alcohol component-derived structural units in the polyethylene terephthalate is 0.7-2.5 mol%.
