Abstract:
This polishing brush (1) comprises a brush holder (2) and a brush (3). The brush holder (2) has a shank (5) of which a base-end portion is connected to a tool post of a lathe, and a brush-holding member (6) that is supported by a distal-end portion of the shank (5). The brush (3) is held by the brush-holding member (6) so as to enable mounting in and dismounting from a brush-holding hole (7) that is provided to an annular outer-peripheral surface (33) around a Y axis orthogonal to the axis of the shank (5), the brush (3) protruding radially outward from the brush-holding member (6). The brush holder (2) is provided with a positioning mechanism (60) that positions the brush-holding member (6) at a plurality of rotation-angle positions, and a fixing mechanism (60) that fixes the positioned brush-holding member (6) to the shank (5).
