Abstract:
This pitch changer comprises a base member, a support member disposed above the base member, an expansion/contraction member that is fixed to the base member by the support member and is capable of expanding/contracting along a first axis, and a drive unit that causes the expansion/contraction member to expand/contract along the first axis. The drive unit comprises a screw shaft that extends along the first axis and has an axis of rotation, a power unit that causes the screw shaft to rotate around the axis of rotation, and a movement unit that is provided on the screw shaft, is made to move along the first axis by the rotation of the screw shaft around the axis of rotation, and is fixed in relation to a part of the expansion/contraction member.
