In a gable-top paper container 1, a body panel 8 on the opening side is provided with a downwardly curved first auxiliary folding line 42 in which left and right ends 40, 41 are positioned at or near intersections 38, 39 between ends of left and right body vertical folding lines 4, 5 of the body panel 8 and left and right ends of a top horizontal folding line 26, and a lowest point U is positioned on a first virtual line L1, which is orthogonal to the top horizontal folding line 26 at the central position of the top horizontal folding line 26. A gable-wall forming panel 24 and the body panel 8 are provided with a pair of vertically extending spout-forming auxiliary folding lines 43, 44 at positions spaced apart from the first virtual line L1, on the left and right sides of the first virtual line L1. The body panel 8 is also provided with an upwardly curved second auxiliary folding line 54 in which left and right ends 52, 53 are positioned on or near the body vertical folding lines 4, 5 on both sides of the body panel 8, at the center or at a position higher than the center of the body panel 8 in the vertical direction. A highest point T of the second auxiliary folding line 54 is positioned on the first virtual line L1.
