Abstract:
The present invention relates to a molten iron production facility and a molten iron production method and, more specifically, to a molten iron production facility and a molten iron production method for producing molten iron by preparing reduced iron and dissolving the prepared reduced iron. A molten iron production facility, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a reduction unit capable of preparing reduced iron; a dissolution unit capable of dissolving the reduced iron; and a processing unit that is capable of receiving the reduced iron from the reduction unit, is installed to receive a supply of exhaust gas discharged from the dissolution unit, and is capable of reacting the supplied reduced iron with the exhaust gas, and supplying the reacted reduced iron to the dissolution unit.
