Abstract:
The present invention relates to molten iron manufacturing equipment and a molten iron manufacturing method, and, more specifically, to molten iron manufacturing equipment and a molten iron manufacturing method, which manufacture reduced iron, and melt the manufactured reduced iron in order to manufacture molten iron. The molten iron manufacturing equipment according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a reduction part for manufacturing reduced iron; a melting part for receiving and melting the reduced iron; a modification part which can receive off-gas discharged from the melting part and by-products discharged from the reduction part, and which can generate hydrogen-containing gas by using the off-gas and the by-products; and an extraction part which can receive the hydrogen-containing gas generated by the modification part, and which can extract hydrogen gas from the hydrogen-containing gas.
