Abstract:
The present invention calcines gypsum granular bodies obtained by pulverizing a waste gypsum board and changes same to hemihydrate gypsum and/or anhydrite type III. Gypsum granular bodies are fed into a fluid tank from a feeding port to the fluid tank of a calcination device by a feeding device, and gypsum granular bodies after calcination are discharged from a discharging port from the fluid tank by a discharging device. The amount of gypsum granular bodies inside the fluid tank is kept within a predetermined range by controlling the feeding device and the discharging device. The calcination device can be steadily operated with a small production amount of anhydrite type II.
