Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an exterior material, a container, and a combination of the container and the exterior material that are excellent in heat insulation. [Solution] The exterior material is used by being attached to the outer peripheral surface of a container body of a container having the container body. The exterior material is formed of a blank material having a paper-based material, and has a plurality of protrusions that protrudes on the side facing the outer peripheral surface and has a proximal end portion and a distal end portion, and at least some of the protrusions have a low-density portion where the density constituting the paper-based material is lower than the density of the proximal end portion and form a concealing portion that extends in the surface direction of the blank material and conceals at least a portion of the outer peripheral surface at a position closer to the distal end portion than the low-density portion.
