Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of waste lithium-ion battery recycling and provides a method for treating a copper-aluminum material of a waste lithium battery and an application. The present method relates to performing electrostatic separation and magnetic separation on a copper-aluminum material of a waste lithium battery to obtain a copper-aluminum material which does not contain a non-metal material and a steel shell, then crushing and screening the copper-aluminum material to obtain copper-aluminum slag and battery powder, and finally, separating copper slag and aluminum slag from the copper-aluminum slag by means of a shaking table. In the present invention, the copper-aluminum material is treated by means of a physical method in the whole process, such that valuable metal in the copper-aluminum material of the waste lithium battery is effectively recycled; the recycled metal copper, metal aluminum, and steel shell can be sold directly; the recycled non-metal material and nickel-cobalt material can be used for subsequent treatment and recycling of the valuable metal; in the whole process, no chemical reagent is added, no pollution is generated, no exhaust is emitted, and the process requirements of environment friendliness, low cost, low energy consumption, and high resource utilization in the industry are met; and the present invention is suitable for industrial production.
