Abstract:
A method for detecting a sludge accumulation spot caused by scale that has been removed from an inner surface of piping accumulating on the inner surface of the piping. The method includes: a step of causing a cleaning solution to flow through the piping, the cleaning solution being capable of detaching scale adhering to the inner surface of the piping from the inner surface; and a step of measuring the temperature distribution in the circumferential direction of an outer surface of the piping while the cleaning solution flows through the piping, the sludge accumulation spot being detected on the basis of the measured temperature distribution.
