Abstract:
The present invention provides: a lithium vanadium oxide particle group having high input/output power and high capacity; a granulated body which uses these particles; and an electricity storage device which uses these particles or this granulated body. The present invention is characterized in that: lithium vanadium oxide particles are contained therein, and each one of the lithium vanadium oxide particles has a magneli phase in the particle surface, said magneli phase being represented by chemical formula VnO2n-1 (3 ≤ n ≤ 8). The magneli phase may be a simple phase composed of V4O7 or a compound selected from among compounds represented by general formula VnO2n-1 (3 ≤ n ≤ 8), or a mixed phase composed of two or more of these compounds.
