Abstract:
Provided is a novel linear motion device in which a no-load path constituent member is easily assembled. This linear motion device has a rail body 1 and a linear motion body 2 that moves linearly relative to the rail body 1, wherein a load path 4 on which rolling bodies 3 move is provided between the rail body 1 and the linear motion body 2, and the load path 4 communicates with a no-load path 6 provided to the linear motion body 2 via a return path 5. The no-load path 6 is configured by a hole 7 that is open in both longitudinal end surfaces of the linear motion body 2, and a no-load path constituent member 8 arranged in the hole 7. The no-load path constituent member 8 has a main body part 9 disposed in the hole 7 and engagement end parts 10 that are provided at both ends of the main body 9 and respectively lock the longitudinal end surfaces of the linear motion body 2. The no-load path constituent member 8 is configured to be engaged and coupled by snap-fitting a first half body 8a and a second half body 8b.
