Abstract:
Disclosed are a lightning protection-type smart pole and a ground monitoring method therefor. The lightning protection-type smart pole, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a pole; a dipole lightning arrester which is installed on the pole in order to protect same from a lightning strike; and a ground part. The lightning protection-type smart pole further comprises: a measurement part which generates measurement information by measuring the ground resistance of the ground part by using a ground electrode of the ground part and one or more test electrodes buried in the earth; and a communication part which transmits the generated measurement information to the outside.
