Abstract:
The present invention relates to a jelly-roll type electrode assembly in which a first electrode, a first separator, a second electrode, and a second separator are stacked and wound, wherein a first layer and a second layer, which respectively indicate the outermost layer among the first electrode, the first separator, the second electrode, and the second separator, and a layer in contact with the inner circumferential surface of the outermost layer, each comprises a first end where winding in a longitudinal direction begins and a second end where the winding ends, the second layer being bent to wrap around an edge parallel to the longitudinal direction of the first layer so that the second end of the second layer is exposed on the outer circumferential surface of the first layer.
