Abstract:
Provided is a lean vehicle that enables reduction of the attitude change of the lean vehicle caused by the transmission when the lean vehicle turns in an inclined state. A vehicle 1 is provided with: a gear-type multilevel automatic transmission machine 12 that has a plurality of transmission gears and a clutch 40 and that changes driving force to be transmitted from an engine 11 to a rear wheel 4 by switching between the plurality of transmission gears automatically and stepwisely; and a control device 7 that controls switching between the plurality of transmission gears. In a case where the vehicle 1 turns in the inclined state, when a vehicle speed thereof in a case of a predetermined accelerator opening degree exceeds a second vehicle speed threshold value greater than a first vehicle speed threshold value at which upshift is performed in the plurality of transmission gears during upright traveling of the vehicle 1, the control device 7 performs upshift in the plurality of transmission gears, or when the accelerator opening degree in a case of a predetermined vehicle speed exceeds a second accelerator opening degree threshold value less than a first accelerator opening degree threshold value at which upshift is performed in the plurality of transmission gears during upright traveling of the vehicle 1, the control device 7 performs upshift in the plurality of transmission gears.
