Abstract:
A leak valve (10) for adjusting the pressure inside a storage container (20) has: a housing (70) equipped with a connecting port (730) and an air supply port (710); an opening/closing plate (81) positioned inside the housing (70); and a biasing member (84) for biasing the opening/closing plate (81). The opening/closing plate (81) is capable of moving between: a closed position (P1) in which a first space (S1) which connects to the air supply port (710) and a second space (S2) which connects to the connecting port (730) are blocked from one another; and an open position (P2) in which the first space (S1) and the second space (S2) are connected to one another. The biasing member (84) biases the opening/closing plate (81) in a direction from the open position (P2) toward the closed position (P1). When the air pressure of the connecting port (730) and the air supply port (710) are substantially identical, the opening/closing plate (81) is pushed toward the closed position (P1) by the biasing force of the biasing member (84). If the air pressure of the connecting port (730) is lower than a prescribed air pressure, the opening/closing plate (81) opens and the pressure inside the storage container (20) is prevented from dropping lower than the prescribed air pressure. As a result, it is possible to keep the pressure inside the storage container (20) at a suitable negative pressure without using a complicated control mechanism.
