Abstract:
The invention relates to a leak detection device (54) comprising: - a portable leak detection bell (55) that comprises a seal and is configured to define a detection chamber (61) between the main body and the test zone, the detection bell also having a handle (76) provided with a manually actuable control member (51, 52) for producing a control signal, - a gas suction circuit intended to connect the detection chamber (61) to a vacuum pump (37, 57), the gas suction circuit being provided with a controlled valve (48, 248) that is able to be switched into an open state for connecting the detection chamber (61) to the vacuum pump (37, 57) and a closed state for isolating the detection chamber (61) from the vacuum pump, and - a control unit (36) configured to switch the controlled valve in response to the control signal.
