Abstract:
An image forming device (100) comprises: an image forming unit (120) that forms an image on a sheet; a sheet feeding unit (130) that feeds a sheet to the image forming unit (120); and a control unit (110) that controls the image forming unit (120) and the sheet feeding unit (130). The sheet feeding unit (130) includes a control substrate (132) that has a control element (134) and a memory element (136) mounted thereon. The control unit (110) includes control substrates (112a, 112b) that respectively have control elements (114a, 114b) and memory elements (116a, 116b) mounted thereon. The memory elements (116a, 116b) of the control unit (110) back up the memory element (136) of the sheet feeding unit (130) for data stored therein.
